Swansea New IPM Symposium

Russell Bio Solutions and Russell IPM were proud to participate in the Swansea New IPM Symposium, an important gathering of experts, researchers, and industry leaders dedicated to advancing sustainable and innovative pest management solutions.

Our team contributed three engaging talks, each highlighting groundbreaking approaches to crop protection and public health:

  • Dr. Nayem Hassan“Multifunctional Microbial Biocontrol Agents for Climate-Smart IPM and Resilient Crop Production”
Dr. Hassan shared insights into the use of beneficial microbes as multifunctional tools to protect crops, improve soil health, and support climate resilience.
  • Dr. Rihem Moujahed“Advancing Biorational Control of Thrips Using Semiochemicals and Entomopathogenic Fungi”
Dr. Moujahed explored innovative strategies that integrate biological and behavioural control methods to manage thrips, offering growers safer and more effective alternatives.
  • Dr. Abu Imroz Ali“A Novel Larval Control Strategy Using Silicone Spreader and Insect Growth Regulator for Rapid and Sustained Mosquito Management”
Dr. Ali presented a pioneering approach to mosquito management, combining silicone spreader technology with insect growth regulators for fast and long-lasting impact.

We are proud to contribute to global conversations on climate-smart agriculture, resilient crop production, and sustainable pest management.

Russell Bio Solutions and Russell IPM thank the organisers, fellow speakers, and attendees for making the symposium a valuable platform for collaboration. Together, we move closer to building a resilient, sustainable, and healthier future.
