TrichoMax is a biological fungicide effective against numerous plant pathogens, including Rhizoctonia spp., Fusarium spp., Sclerotinia spp., Macrophomina, Cephalosporium spp., Agroathelia rolfsii (formerly Sclerotium rolfsii), Phytophthora spp..

It acts as a biocontrol agent by colonising the root zone, as well as attacking and degrading any harmful fungi remaining after colonisation.

Trichoderma natural fungicide in a wettable powder formulation, which contains with 1X108 CFU/gm.

How TrichoMax Works:

Trichoderma viride has a dual mode of action. Firstly, it colonises the root zone, starving the pathogenic competition of vital nutrients. Secondly, because it is a mycoparasite, it directly attacks and degrades any harmful fungi remaining after the colonisation through secretion of cell wall-degrading enzymes. It can additionally stimulate the plants own defence by inducing systemic resistance.

Method of Application & Dosage:

  • Seed treatment: 5 grams of formulation mix with 1 kg of seed uniformly & Coat the seed with this slurry so as to have uniform coating all over the seeds. Dry the seeds in shade for 30 minutes and sow the treated seeds within 24 hours.
  • Nursery bed treatment: Mix 50 grams of formulation mix in 10 litres of water and drench nursery bed of 1 square meter at the time of seeding.
  • Seedling treatment: Dissolve 100 grams of formulation in 10 litre of water and dip the roots of seedlings for 30-45 min before transplanting.
  • Soil application: Mix 2.5 kg – 5 kg with 50 kg Farm Yard Manure and broadcast in one hectare field before sowing.
  • Drip Irrigation: Mix 2.5 kg – 5 Kg TrichoMax in 50L of water and mix well. Allow to sediment and decant supernatant and feed it through drip irrigation.
