Target Pests
This bio-pesticide swiftly and efficiently targets larvae of:
- Anopheles
- Culex
- Aedes
- Mansoia
- Psorophora
- Simulium
Larvae aged 1-3 days are effectively eradicated within 48 hours of ingestion.
Application Rate
- For Small Areas:
Apply 0.1 gram per square meter of polluted area. - For Larger Areas (e.g., irrigation ditches, roadside ditches, flood water):
Apply 50 – 200 g/acre or 125 – 500 g/ha. Suitable for use in standing pools, woodland pools, snow melt pools, pastures, catch basins, storm water retention areas, tidal water, salt marshes, and rice fields. - For Polluted Water (e.g., sewage lagoons, animal waste lagoons):
Apply 200 – 400 g/acre or 0.5 – 1.0 kg/ha. Use the higher rate range in heavily polluted water and when late 3rd and early 4th instar larvae predominate, mosquito populations are high, water is heavily polluted, and/or algae are abundant.
Precautions
- On Skin Contact: Wash with water.
- In Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing.
